The Windows Developer magazine (spelling: windows.developer ; until 2012 dot.net magazin ) is an independent IT specialist magazine for .NET technologies and is published by Software & Support Media in Frankfurt am Main . The contents of the magazine are information for developers who a. work with the .NET platform.

Windows Developer appears monthly in German-speaking countries with a print run of 5,000 copies. A CD-ROM or DVD with source codes is included with every issue. In addition, special issues with current reference appear at irregular intervals. The editorial office has been in Frankfurt am Main since January 2009; previously it was located in Unterhaching .

The editor-in-chief is currently Sebastian Meyen. The managing director authorized to represent the company is Pouya Kamali, who also runs the publishing house.
