Holm of Melby is an uninhabited island in the Sound of Papa , a strait that separates Mainland , the main island of the Shetlands , from Papa Stour . There are three Cairns on Holm of Melby that are designated as Scheduled Monument . With the exception of two short stretches to the north, the island's coast, as part of the SSSI Sandness Coast , is protected .
