The residential building at Holzstrasse 17 is a listed building in Düren , North Rhine-Westphalia . It is on Holzstrasse in the city center, where there are still several listed buildings.

The house was built by Leopold Krafft in 1891 according to an inscription. He was a partner in the chain company Krafft & Schüll, which had its headquarters on the corner of Aachener Str./Kuthsgasse (today Heinrich-Heine-Strasse). He lived in his house until his death in 1918. In 1925 his widow Lori sold the house to the paper manufacturer Max Heyder, Ursulinenstrasse. The garden side was badly damaged during the Second World War . The house survived the bombing of November 16, 1944 undamaged.

The neo - baroque semi - villa has three axes on the street side. The building is two-story with a gable floor. It has an elaborate stucco facade with a bay window and a blind gable with volutes and a slate-covered mansard roof .

The structure is registered under No. 1/014 in the list of monuments of the city of Düren.
