Hopfgarten is a deserted village in the district of the hamlet Teichröda the city of Rudolstadt in Saalfeld-Rudolstadt in Thuringia .

As early as 1217, pastor Heinrich was commissioned by the chief cleric of the town church in Rudolstadt to carry out the early mass and the vicars in the town of Hopfgarten . Teichröda has the following mentions: 1417, 1420 and 1450. From 1420, however, the population gradually moved to Teichröda and the neighboring towns.
