The Hopkins Highway is a trunk road in the southwest of the Australian state of Victoria . It connects the Hamilton Highway in Mortlake with the Princes Highway in the port city of Warrnambool .

The Hopkins Highway branches off in Mortlake from the Hamilton Highway (B140) to the southwest. At Ellerslie it crosses the Hopkins River , after which it was named. Soon afterwards it swings south, only to take a south-westerly direction again at Purnim . At Bushfield on the Merri River it turns south again and then reaches the Princes Highway (A1) to its end point Warrnambool.
