Hoppenmühle (Gardelegen)

Hoppenmühle is a residential area in the Ziepel district of the town of Gardelegen in the Altmark district of Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The Hoppenmühle residential area is located directly on the Milde , about one kilometer east of Ziepel and about 4 kilometers southwest of Gardelegen in the Gardelegen-Letzlinger Forest nature reserve .

history

In 1721 the Hoppen = mill , a mill belonging to the parish of Ipse, was first mentioned in files. In 1745 there is talk of a water mill with two grinding courses .
