Horacio Salgán

Horacio Salgán (born June 15, 1916 in Buenos Aires , Argentina; † August 19, 2016 there ) was an Argentine orchestra conductor in the 1940s and 1950s.

With his compositions, his piano playing and his arrangements as well as his many years of teaching activities, he had a decisive influence on tango in the second half of the 20th century. He created classics of tango such as A Fuego Lento and Don Agustin Bardi .
