Horrocks is an impact crater on the front of the moon in the northeast of the whale plain of Hipparchus . The crater is relatively little eroded, the crater rim is irregular and sharp-edged. The interior shows traces of landslides.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the English astronomer Jeremiah Horrocks .
