Horst Bodenstein

Horst Bodenstein (born June 16, 1927 in Bad Eilsen ; † February 22, 2000 in Stade ) was a German athlete .

Bodenstein was four times German pentathlon champion (1952, 1953, 1954 and 1956). He followed Friedel Schirmer , who concentrated on the decathlon . He started for VfL Bückeburg until 1949 , from 1950 to 1955 for TK Hannover and from 1956 for Post-SV Hannover .
