Horst Müntefering

Horst Müntefering (born May 30, 1936 in Dortmund ) is a German medic.

Life

Horst Müntefering studied medicine at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . For many years he was head of pediatric pathology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz . In 2004 he retired.

In addition to developmental and pediatric pathology, his scientific work made him known in particular through research on the placenta .
