Horst Marxer (born October 25, 1958 ) is a former football player from Liechtenstein .

The goalkeeper Marxer, who was head of the drug search for the Liechtenstein National Police in the early 1990s, is one of the pioneers of the Liechtenstein national soccer team . In 1982 he guarded the goal of the principality in the 0-1 draw against Switzerland, which was the first international match in the history of the national team of his home country. Even at the beginning of Dietrich Weise's tenure , he was still a member of the national team. At club level he played for USV Eschen / Mauren , FC Vaduz and Chur 97 . Today (as of November 30, 2010) Marxer is the owner of the security company RMS.
