Horst Schreiner
Horst Schreiner (born September 24, 1921 , † August 21, 2002 ) was a German materials scientist .
Live and act
Horst Schreiner studied at the Graz University of Technology, where he also completed his habilitation . He then worked for Siemens before taking over a chair in materials science and metal technology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 1971, specializing in powder metallurgy and sintered materials , which he held for more than 20 years. Schreiner was awarded the Skaupy Prize of the Powder Metallurgy Association in 1984 as part of the Hagen symposium .
