The Hotel Alfonso XIII is a historic hotel in the Andalusian capital, Seville . It is located on Calle San Fernando, near Seville University .

The hotel was opened from 1916 to 1928 on the orders of the King of Spain Alfonso XIII. built to offer luxurious accommodation for the Ibero American Exhibition of 1929. A tendered architectural competition was won by the local architect José Espiau y Muñoz , who then also implemented his design in Neomudéjar style . It was one of the most luxurious and famous hotels in Spain at the time. It is owned by the City of Seville and operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide .
