The Hotel Estelar Bocagrande in Cartagena de Indias on the Colombian Caribbean coast is a five-star hotel and, since 2017, the third tallest building in Colombia . It is located to the west, outside the old town, on the Bocagrande peninsula, directly on the beach. The hotel was built between 2013 and 2016, is 202 m high with 52 floors and also houses a convention center for 2,000 people. The owner is the Hoteles Estelar hotel group of the Colombian Grupo Aval .
The building is divided into two independent parts. In the first part, between floors 1 and 10, there are halls for congresses and exhibitions of various sizes and rooms for smaller social events. In the second part, from floor 11, there is the actual hotel with reception and the 338 rooms as well as the business center. On the 51st floor is a lookout point with a full view of the city.
