Hotel Imperial (original title: Grand Hotel ) is an Italian television series produced in 2015 for the television channel Rai 1 and based on the Spanish television series Grand Hotel by Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira. She moves the story to South Tyrol . In contrast to the original, it only consists of one season, which in the original comprises six 90-minute episodes; alternatively there is an edit that divides the series into twelve 45-minute episodes. When it was first broadcast in German-speaking countries on July 29, 2016 on Servus TV , the original plan was to broadcast the latter, but then decided against it.
