Hotsuki Ozaki
Hotsuki Ozaki (尾崎 秀 樹, Ozaki Hotsuki ; born November 29, 1928 in Taipei ; † September 21, 1999 ) was a Japanese author and literary critic.
Ozaki studied medicine at the Taiwan Imperial University and returned to Japan in 1945. He gave a critical analysis of the Japanese rule in Taiwan in the book Zhanshi de Taiwan wenxue . With Takeuchi Yoshimi , the historian Hashikawa Bunzō and others, he founded a research group "China in Japan" in 1960. This was given the name Chūkogu no kai (China Society ) in 1963 and published the magazine Chūgoku (China). From 1993 to 1997 he was Chairman of the PEN Center Japan .
