Hou Yuzhu ( Chinese  侯玉珠 ; born March 7, 1963 in Yongtai , Fujian , People's Republic of China ) is a former Chinese volleyball player .

Hou Yuzhu played in the Chinese national team as an outside attacker . She won the gold medal at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles . She was world cup winner in Japan in 1985 and world champion in Czechoslovakia in 1986 . At the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul , she won the bronze medal. Then Hou Yuzhu played for German Bundesliga club CJD Feuerbach , with whom she became German champion in 1991 , and then for league competitor TSG Tübingen .
