Howard Levy

Howard Levy (born July 31, 1951 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American harmonica player and pianist . He set the standard for chromatic playing on the diatonic harmonica using the blown technique.

Levy was a member of the first line-up of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones and had a decisive influence on the sound of this band on the first three recordings from 1990 to 1992, until he then left the band to publish more of his own material within a new framework and more time for his To be able to have family.
