The Howarth Glacier is a small glacier in the southeast of the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It flows in a south-southeast direction along the western flank of The Watchtower and joins Admiralty Street .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1995 after Richard Kingsley Howarth (* 1932), paleontologist at the Natural History Museum from 1980 to 1992 and author of the 21st scientific report of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey on Alexander I Island .
