Baron Morris
Baron Morris , of St. John's in the Dominion of Newfoundland and of the City of Waterford , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on January 15, 1918 for the lawyer and politician Sir Edward Morris , on the occasion of his retirement from the office of Prime Minister of Newfoundland .
Today's title holder has been his great-grandson Thomas Morris as the 4th Baron since 2011 .
