Georg Kaempffe
Georg Hermann Adalbert Kaempffe (born February 3, 1842 in Sommerfeld, † June 4, 1880 in Guben ) was a German lawyer and politician .
Life
Born the son of a district judge, Kaempffe studied law in Halle after attending grammar school in Guben . During his studies in 1861 he became a member of the Germania Halle fraternity . After his studies he was at the district court in Hoyerswerda , then until 1876 district judge in Cottbus . From 1876 to 1880 he was mayor of Guben. He suddenly died at an agricultural exhibition in Guben.

- Honorary grave of the city council with a memorial stone .
