The Howgill Beck is a watercourse in Lancashire , England . It arises west of Weets Hill and the A682 road from two unnamed tributaries. In its upper reaches it is also known as the Ox Close Clough . It flows in a northerly direction and forms the Swanside Beck when it meets the Crag Clough .
