Hrant Markarjan
Hrant Markarjan or Markarian ( Armenian Հրանտ Մարգարյան ; * 1958 in Dscholfa ( Esfahan ), Iran ) is an Armenian politician and currently party leader of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation as chairman of its highest executive body, the Presidium.
Markarian was born near the city of Isfahan in Iran. He has a degree in Armenology at the University of Isfahan . In 1990 Markarian moved with his family to Armenia and became involved in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the organization of the ARF in Armenia.
