Hrvatska stranka prava dr. Ante Starčević (HSP-AS, Croatian Party of Law Dr. Ante Starčević) is a national conservative party in Croatia . It was founded in 2009 when Hrvatska stranka prava split off from a group led by Ruža Tomašić . It is named after the Croatian politician, publicist and author Ante Starčević (1823-1896).

In the 2011 parliamentary elections , the party ran together with the far-right Hrvatska čista stranka prava (Croatian pure party of the law). The joint list received 2.8% of the vote and Tomašić moved into the Sabor .

In 2012, the party decided to work closely with the then largest opposition party, Hrvatska demokratska zajednica (HDZ, Croatian Democratic Union). In the European elections in Croatia in 2013 , Tomašić appeared on the joint list with the HDZ and the Blok umirovljenici zajedno and was elected to the European Parliament by preferential votes .
