Huang Shiping ( Chinese  黄世平 ; * February 24, 1963 ) is a former Chinese sports shooter .

successes

Huang Shiping took part in two Olympic Games competing on the running target over the 50-meter distance. In 1984 he scored 581 points in Los Angeles like Uwe Schröder , but was rated ahead of this because of the better result in the fast run. He finished the competition behind Li Yuwei and Helmut Bellingrodt in third place and won the bronze medal. At the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul , he finished third in qualifying after 296 points in slow and 293 points in fast, with 589 total points behind Tor Heiestad and Hennadij Awramenko . In the final, in which ten shots were fired at the target, Huang hit the 10 eight times and the 9 twice, overtaking Hennadij Awramenko with a total of 98 points, who only managed 95 points. Tor Heiestad, like Huang Shiping, scored 98 points and became Olympic champion , while Huang received the silver medal and Awramenko bronze.

In 1986 Huang won the silver medal behind Attila Solti and ahead of Li Yuwei in the individual competition of the running deer discipline at the World Championships in Suhl . In the team competition, he was together with Li Yuwei and Yang Yiming world champion in front of the Soviet and the Hungarian team. At the continental level, Huang was also successful. In 1987 he became vice-Asian champion in Beijing in the individual on the running target over the 50-meter distance and took third place in the mix competition. At the Asian Games in Beijing in 1990 , Huang secured three gold medals. In the individual competition of the Running Disc, he won his first title in the mix competition over the 50-meter distance from Kim Gwang-chol and Hong Seung-pyo . In the team competition, the one with Ji Gang and Zhang Ronghui followed second when they took first place ahead of North Korea and South Korea. Together with Ji Gang and Shu Qingquan , he also won the gold medal in front of the North Korean and South Korean teams in the team competition in the running target discipline .
