Hubert Schösser

Hubert Schösser (born November 11, 1966 in Innsbruck ) is a former Austrian bobsleigh athlete .

He won the silver medal in the foursome at the 1992 European Championships . In 1993 he took bronze at the European Championship and won the Vice World Championship . At the 1994 Winter Olympics , he started in two, where he was fifth, and in four, where he reached fourth. He was also the overall four -man World Cup winner in 1993/94 . In 1995 he won silver at both the European Championships and the World Championships . He was also vice European champion in 1998. At the 1998 Winter Olympics , he finished ninth. In October 1998, Schösser tested positive for metandienone during a doping control and was banned for two years, after which he resigned.
