Bobsleigh World Championship 1993
The 44th Bobsleigh World Championship took place in Igls in Austria in 1993 . The World Cup was held for the third time in Igls. Originally the 1989 World Cup was awarded to Cervinia in Italy , which was able to prevail against Winterberg in Germany . Cervinia later withdrew and Igls was chosen as a replacement.
