1951 World Bobsleigh Championship

The 12th Bobsleigh World Championship took place in Alpe d'Huez in France in 1951 . The bobsleigh athletes from the Federal Republic of Germany, who took part in a bobsleigh world championship for the first time after the end of the Second World War , won both world championship titles.
