Bobsleigh World Championship 1971

The 28th Bobsleigh World Championship took place in Cervinia , Italy in 1971 . The Italians Gianfranco Gaspari and Mario Armano became the two-man bobsleigh world champions, while Switzerland won the four-man bobsleigh title .

Two-man bobsleigh

Only the first two runs on Saturday, January 23rd, were counted, as the competition on Sunday had to be stopped during the third run due to heavy snowfall.

Because of several falls, the first two runs on January 30th were canceled. Only two races held on January 31st were included in the ranking.
