1949 World Bobsleigh Championship

The 10th World Bobsleigh Championship was held in Lake Placid , United States , in 1949 . As in the previous year at the Olympic Games, the Swiss Endrich and Waller won the two-man bobsleigh. Two Olympic champions from 1948 sat in the victorious four-man bobsleigh, d'Amico and Martin.
