Career

De Crignis, who started for the SS Ravascletto, started for the first time on December 2, 2004 in the junior division in Kranj, Slovenia . After this jumping, which he finished in 68th place, he competed in jumping at FIS races and in the FIS Cup for two years , but without any notable successes.

At the Junior World Championships 2007 in Tarvisio he came in individual jumping from the normal hill to 54th place and was ninth with the team. A year later he was able to improve his performance and reached the 33rd place in the individual jumping at the Junior World Championship in Zakopane in 2008 . In the team competition he reached ninth place again with the team. In 2008 he was included in the team for the Continental Cup and jumped his first jumping in this series on September 20, 2008 in Villach . On October 11, 2008, he finished 26th at a Continental Cup in Falun and was thus able to qualify for the second round for the first time in this series. On December 12th, 2008 he jumped in the national group in the qualification for the World Cup in Pragelato and could not qualify as 47th for the competition. At the 2nd competition on December 14th, 2008 he finished 51st after the qualification had been canceled before. De Crignis continued to jump only in the Continental Cup. On January 4, 2009 he finished 13th at a Continental Cup in Braunlage , which was the best result of his career. At the Junior World Championships in 2009 in Štrbské Pleso he was 13th in the individual competition and surprisingly jumped to seventh place with the team. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2009 he was disqualified from the large hill in the individual competition and achieved eleventh place in the team competition together with Sebastian Colloredo , Andrea Morassi and Roberto Dellasega . He did not take part on the normal hill. Until 2011 he mainly took part in the Continental Cups, but in most of them he missed the qualification for the 2nd round. He was nominated several times to qualify for a World Cup, but missed them each time. At the Junior World Championship in 2010 he finished 40th in the individual and 7th place in the team. From 2011 he hardly took part in qualifications for the World Cup and instead commuted between the Continental Cup and the FIS Cup. In the Continental Cup he almost always missed the second round. He achieved his best career result in the FIS Cup on February 18, 2012 in Liberec . But after his performance there became weaker and weaker, he ended his career in the summer of 2014.
