Hubert Schmid (singer)

Hubert Schmid is a German opera singer (tenor) and was a member of the now-defunct formation Die Junge Tenöre from 2003 to 2017 .

Life

He studied singing at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich with the tenor Andrej Kucharsky and at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding .

He made his debut at the Bavarian State Opera , followed by further engagements at the opera houses in Rennes, Theater Vorpommern, Treviso, Palermo and Naples.

After 14 years, he quit his work with the Young Tenors at the end of 2017 to devote himself to other music. The formation of the Young Tenors broke up at the same time.
