Hubert Schwab (born April 5, 1982 in Bottmingen ) is a former Swiss cyclist .

Career as a cyclist

In 2004 Schwab became Swiss champion in the U23 road race. He then got a place in the Swiss Continental Team Saeco-Romer's-Wetzikon for the 2005 season and won a stage of the Vuelta a Navarra year . In 2006 Schwab moved to the Belgian ProTeam Quick Step-Innergetic . He stayed there for four years before moving to the Austrian Vorarlberg Corratec team in 2010 and, from July 1, to the Continental Price Custom Bikes team . At the end of the 2010 season, Hubert Schwab ended his career as a professional cyclist after only six years.

Activity as a trainer

On January 1, 2012, Hubert Schwab was appointed as the new U23 road national trainer by the Swiss Cycling Association.
