Hubert Wagner (politician)

Hubert Wagner (born February 1, 1900 in Münstermaifeld ; † May 7, 1994 in Kall ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1950 to 1954 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Wagner completed his training at a teachers' seminar and then worked as a teacher, rector and city school council. Later he was also employed in the lignite industry.

Wagner had been a member of the SPD since 1923. He was already a member of the trade union during the Weimar Republic , after the Second World War he was a member of the Education and Science trade union . After 1945 he was a member of various committees in the city of Duisburg . Wagner was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate in constituency 70 (Duisburg-Altstadt) in the second electoral term, he was a member of parliament from July 5, 1950 to July 4, 1954.
