Huey Dunbar (born May 15, 1974 ), actually Eustace Dunbar IV., Is a salsa singer with Puerto Rican roots.

Career

Huey Dunbar, the son of a Jamaican father and Puerto Rican mother, was a singer in the group Dark Latin Groove. With this group he recorded hits like "La Quiero a Morir", "Juliana", "No Morirá", "Volveré", "Todo Mi Corazón" and a remake of the Ricardo Montaner classic "Me Va a Extrañar".

In 2000 he began a solo career and was named Best New Artist by Billboard Magazine with his first album. He received platinum from the RIAA for this . In 2007, the producer Sergio George wanted to move him to return to Dark Latin Groove, which he refused. After a break between 2003 and 2010, his last album "Huey Dunbar IV" was released, which achieved good sales in Latin America and reached fourth place in the Billboard Tropical Song Charts with the hit "Te Amaré". Other hits by Huey Dunbar are "Con Cada Beso", "Yo si me enamore", "A Cambio de Qué", "Sin Poderte Hablar" and "A Dónde Iré".
