Paul Jacob Förtsch
Paul Jacob Förtsch (born November 17, 1722 in Großenhain ; † November 30, 1801 in Harburg ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of the dioceses of Göttingen and Harburg .
Life
Förtsch was professor of theology and university preacher in Göttingen . In 1764 he became the first pastor at the St. Johannis Church in Göttingen, and in 1767 also general superintendent of the general diocese there. In 1773 he became the first pastor of the Trinity Church in Harburg and general superintendent of the General Diocese of Harburg.
