Hugh Reinagle (cellist)
Hugh Reinagle (* 1758 or 1759; † March 19, 1785 in Lisbon ) was an English cellist and composer.
Reinagle was one of four sons of the Austro-Hungarian trumpeter Joseph Reinagle . He studied cello with John Crosdill and Joseph Shetky . In 1783 he became a member of the Royal Society of Musicians . In 1784 he traveled to Lisbon with his brother, the composer Alexander Reinagle , where they both appeared before the royal family in January 1785. In March of the same year he died of tuberculosis in Lisbon. Reinagle has received 6 Favorite Solos for Cello .
