Rudy Solari
Rudy Solari (born December 21, 1934 in Modesto , California , † April 23, 1991 in Indio , California) was an American actor .
Life
Career
Solari graduated from San Francisco State College with a degree in performing arts. From 1957 to 1983 he acted in numerous films and television series such as Spaceship Enterprise , Cobra, Take Over You and Quincy . He played a leading role in each of the series The Wackiest Ship in the Army and Garrison's Gorillas . In the 1970s, Solari founded his own theater company in Los Angeles. During this time he was also known as an acting teacher.
Private
Solari's son Dru Solari starred in an episode of Quincy , Rudy and Dru played father and son. His nephew Gary Grimes is also an actor. Solari died of cancer. He was married to Niki Solari until his death. Solari left a daughter and two sons.
