Peter Vieregge

Peter Vieregge (* 1966 ) is a German economist . Since 2006 he has been a lecturer in start-up management at the private University of Applied Sciences Europe (formerly Business and Information Technology School) in Iserlohn .

After graduation in 1986 Peter Vieregge studied between 1988 and 1994 geography , political science , economic policy , journalism and German studies at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster , which he described as Geographer and the promotion of Dr. phil. completed. He then worked for a management consultancy until 1999 before becoming a managing partner at ExperConsult Business Development and Investments . In 2001 he finally founded the Dr. Vieregge GmbH , a consulting company for regional marketing and corporate development based in Balve . He is Vice President of the IT umbrella association networker NRW .

In 1999, Peter Vieregge held a teaching position in the economics department at the University of Dortmund for the first time , where he held seminars in the field of spatial economics . Between 2005 and 2011 he was professor for start-up management at the private BiTS Iserlohn , where he continues to hold a teaching position. There he founded the Research Institute for Regional and Cluster Management , which deals with improving the competitiveness of regions.
