Hugo Schröder (optician)
Hugo Schröder (born October 18, 1834 , † October 31, 1902 in London ) was an optician in Hamburg . His works are mainly from the period 1860 to 1880.

Hugo Schröder exhibited in his optical workshop a. a. Lenses for telescopes. For the equatorial of the Hamburg observatory , he manufactured a new lens with an aperture of 27 cm.
In 1871 he committed himself to building a large planetarium with a public observatory in Hamburg . However, this plan failed due to funding.
