Hul (bible)

Hul ( Hebrew חוּל ḥûl , ancient Greek ουλ ul ) is the second eldest son of Aram , grandson of Sem and great grandson of Noah in the Old Testament .

Biblical report

Hul is only mentioned in the genealogical table in Gen 10.23  EU and in the family tree 1 Chr 1.17  EU . His brothers are called Uz , Geter and Masch . The section Gen 10: 22-23  EU of the table of nations, in which Hul and his brothers are mentioned, belongs to the priestly scriptures.
