Hull and Barnsley Railway

The Hull and Barnsley Railway (H&BR) was a British railway company that existed from 1885 to 1922. The length of the route network, for the most part in Yorkshire , was 171 kilometers. Their main route ran from Kingston upon Hull to Cudworth. The main workshops were in Kingston upon Hull.

In 1922, the H&BR was part of the North Eastern Railway . With the entry into force of the Railways Act 1921 on January 1, 1923, the North Eastern Railway was part of the London and North Eastern Railway .
