The Humar Peak (English, Bulgarian връх Хумар wrach Chumar ) is a 1300 m high mountain at the Oskar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Austa Ridge it rises 5.9 km south-southwest of the Jordanow Nunatak , 9.14 km west of Caution Point and 5.5 km north-northwest of Mount Birks . The Jorum Glacier is north and the Wesselie Glacier is south of it.
British scientists mapped it in 1976. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the proto-Bulgarian town of Chumar in the northern Caucasus , which was inhabited between the 2nd and 7th centuries .
