Humason is a small impact crater on the northwestern front of the moon in the plain of Oceanus Procellarum , northwest of Montes Agricola and north-northeast of Schiaparelli crater . It appears bowl-shaped and moderately eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1973 after the American astronomer Milton Lasell Humason .
