Humphrey Searle
Humphrey Searle (born August 26, 1915 in Oxford , † May 12, 1982 in London ) was a British composer and student of Anton von Webern and John Ireland
In 1947 he wrote his first twelve-tone composition . He wrote symphonies , piano concertos and ballets as well as the film music for Yeti, the Snow Man and Until the Blood Freezes .
He wrote books about the composer Franz Liszt and developed the most widely recognized and widely used cataloging of Liszt's works.
