Hunterz

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hunterz is an English musician with influences from the Arabic music world and the bhangra .

After he co-produced one of the most successful English albums of 2000 with Slave II Fusion , his independent production debut appeared in 2003 with the album No Limits , on which he did not, however, sing.

His singing debut came in 2003 with the bhangra album Most wanted . It also features the duet Aaja Kurhiye , which he recorded with the legendary singer Hans Raj Hans , who is a family member of Hunterz and whom he has known since childhood.

According to Hunterz, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is one of his greatest role models. He studies his singing style very intensively and would like to deal with it extensively in the future. He may even dedicate a tribute album to him, the negotiations with the record companies are currently in progress.

The second album he released is called Phat Trax Vol. 1: Blazin and was completed in 2004. In contrast to Most Wanted's international style, it has a more urban orientation. Most of the songs contrast Hunterz ' lyrics sung in Hindi with English rap singing. Hunterz's brothers Ishers and Vee as well as his cousin Chan are also represented on the album.

Along with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, he counts these three people in the music business whom he admires most.

In December 2004 Hunterz was represented with his Baby Girl Mix by Aap Ka Aana from the film Kurukshetra on the album Streets of Bollywood , an album with remixes of Bollywood songs.

He also produced four more remixes of Bollywood songs for the album Bollywood Breaks Vol. 1 : Hair Hair , Tu Cheez , Dulhe Ka Sehra and Pehli Baar .

In 2005 he wrote the song Reasons together with the British reggae and pop band UB40 , which he played together with UB40 and The Dhol Blasters in London's Hyde Park in the course of the worldwide Live8 concerts .

Hunterz 'brother Ishers released the song Teriyan Eh Pyar Nishanian in 1999 , but it was rarely played on the radio. He is currently working on a solo album that will be released soon.
