Amir Huschang Ebtehadsch ( Sayeh ), ( Persian هوشنگ ابتهاج, DMG Hūšang Ebtehāǧ ) (born February 25, 1928 / 6. Esfand 1306 in Rascht ), known under the pseudonym "Sāyeh" ("shadow"), ( Persian ه.ا. سايه), Is an Iranian poet of the modernist school.
Life
After primary school, Hushang Ebtehadsch moved to Tehran . He published his first volume of poetry, with an introduction by the poet Mehdi Hamidi Schirazi, at the age of 19. In the period after the Second World War, HE was active in various literary circles and published in literary magazines such as Sokhan , Kavian , Sadaf , Maslehat . To earn a living, he worked for the state cement company for 22 years. He ran his literary work on the side. Later he was invited by Iranian Radio to produce the programs "Golhā-ye Tāze" and "Golčīn Hafte", which dealt with traditional Iranian music . After the Islamic Revolution of 1979, he spent a year in prison for his writings. After his release he wrote the work Hafez, in the attempt of the "shadow" , in which he deals with the work of the Iranian poet Hafis . He has lived in Cologne with his family since 1987 .

Ebtehaj has often performed with the Iranian musician Mohammad Reza Lotfi to recite his poems .
