Husky Rescue is a Finnish band from Helsinki . It belongs to the downtempo genre and combines electronic music with folk influences.

It consists of bassist Marko Nyberg, who also writes the group's songs, Miika Colliander (guitar), Ville Riipa (keyboard), Anssi Sopanen (drums) and singer Reeta-Leena Korhola.

In 2003 the band got a contract with the English independent label Catskills Records and initially released two EPs , New light of tomorrow and Sleep tight tiger . The first album Country falls was released in 2004, the second album Ghost is not real followed in 2007.

In 2006 they played at the Lollapalooza Festival in the USA and in 2007 at the Glastonbury Festival .
