Hwagok 8 Dong FV (pronounced: Hwagok 8 (Pal) Dong ) is a soccer club from Seoul , Gangseo-gu in South Korea . The club currently plays in the K5 League , the sixth highest division in South Korea.
history
founding
The club was founded in 1998 and played in various amateur leagues until it was incorporated into the Divisions League .
Path to the K5 League (2017-2018)
The club participated in the inaugural season of the K7 League 2017 and won the relay championship. They then rose to the newly founded K6 League . The premiere season in the K6 League was not that good. With only one win and five draws, the club finished the season in 5th place, but since third-placed FC Pressure and then fourth-placed Gyeonggin FV did not want to move up, the club decided to move up to fifth-place in the new K5 League .
Present (since 2019)
The premiere season in the K5 League was not good. The club only won the first league game against FC Together 5-3, while the other games were all lost. The club finished the season last and was relegated back to the K6 League.
