  • City League (Supreme City Province such as Incheon " Incheon League ", Seoul " Seoul League ", Daegu " Daegu League " or Daejeon " Daejeon League ")

Overall, the league is comparable to the German Association League or the State League .

The individual national soccer associations of South Korea are responsible for the organization and implementation. In 2018, up to 174 clubs took part in the league, which were divided into a total of 24 seasons. In 2019 the number of clubs was increased to 190 teams and the number of relays increased to 30. Depending on the league, 6 or 8 clubs take part in one season per season. There is a sporty promotion and relegation between the leagues of the individual associations. The promotion will be carried out in the form of a play-off round between the season winners. The last placed are automatically relegated to the K7 League.
